This linocut is the first of my series on the monuments and the Breton coast! The Château du Taureau is a strong presence in the bay of Morlaix, you will find some similarities with its cousins the Fort Boyard or the Fort de la Conchée in St Malo! It’s normal Vauban is behind it all. Sometimes a protective fort, prison, sailing school, the Chateau du Taureau is now open to visitors, do not hesitate to visit this pretty fort accessible from Carantec or Plougasnou.
Each linocut is wrapped in tissue paper then inserted and shipped in a pretty drawing board. The latter is stamped and tied.
